MSBC CHURCH UPDATE for July 29th, 2026
MEN’S BIBLE STUDY & POTLUCK:
Wednesday, Aug 12th & 26th, 6pm. Please note the first study in Aug will be on the 12th due to July having a 5 Wednesdays.
COFFEE TIME:
There is an opening that needs to be filled for the 4th Sunday of every month. We also need 2 to 3 people who would be able to serve if someone is on a vacation or for a last minute sickness/emergency. If you want to get to know your church family better and would like to serve coffee on Sunday mornings, please see Cara or email secretary@houltonmsbc.org. This is a huge ministry that benefits a lot of people and we can’t do it without volunteers who are willing to serve God by serving others. Thank you!!
THE GOD SQUAD: Tonight!!
Come out and support the Church on the Hill softball team on July 29th at the Houlton Community Park. It will be a double header with games at 6:30 & 7:30.
WOMEN’S LIFE GROUP: “Rooted Together”
Monday, August 10th, 6:15pm. Open to women 18 years & older. Join us for conversation, friendship, laughter, game nights, encouragement and much more. A casual community of women who love God and love doing life together!
CHILD DEDICATION:
August 9th during the service. If you would like to dedicate your child, sign up at the Welcome Center or call the church office before Aug 5th.
NEW BELIEVERS CLASS:
Learn more about the foundational truths of the faith, grow in your spiritual journey and know how to engage with the church community. Aug 2nd, 9th & 16th. Sign up at the Welcome Center or call the church office.
STRONG TOWER HAITI:
Color Run/Walk 2026 – Sept 12th. Registration: 8:30am, Race starts at 9am. $25 for adults, $15 for kids. Pre-register at https://strongtowerhaiti.com by Aug 23rd to receive a shirt. For more questions, please see Chelsea McKay.
Food Giveaway: Aug 8th, 9am.
Clothing Giveaway: Aug 1st & 29th, 10am.
Seedtime & Harvest: Aug 22nd, 10am “Edible Landscapes” at Shelly’s house. Please call AABA to register. 532-2273
HILLTOP FAMILY FEST 2026:
Sat, August 15th, 11am-2pm. We still have areas that are in need of help. If you would like to sign up for any of these areas, please email the church office at secretary@houltonmsbc.org. There will also be a sign-up sheet listing the different areas at the mission tree on Sunday. The goal is to reach as many people as we can in the community and share the love of Christ.  
VAN RIDES:
If you need a ride to church on a Sunday morning, please call the office no later than Thursday morning so we can get the route info set up before the weekend. Please note the church is closed on Fridays.
