MSBC CHURCH UPDATE for June 24th, 2026

FAMILY CAMPFIRE NIGHT: This Friday!!
✨Hosted by the Men’s Wed night bible study and everyone is invited! Friday, June 26th, 6pm at MSBC. Ditch the desk and grab a lawn chair! 🔥 The Men’s Bible Study is trading the usual Wednesday night setup for a full-blown Family Campfire Night! Join us Friday, June 26th at 6:00pm for an evening outdoors. Bring the kids, your favorite lawn chairs, games, and hot dogs to grill. We’ll supply everything you need to build the perfect s'more. Please note that there will not be the regular Wed night study that week. See you around the fire!

CHURCH PICNIC: This Sunday!!
Come join us for our 2nd Annual Sun, Fun & Fellowship right after the service on June 28th. If it rains, we will move it all inside. Games, playground fun, tug of war and so much more! We’ll have the grill fired up with Hamburgers & Hot Dogs provided by the church. If you are able, we ask that you bring a side dish or a dessert to share. If you would like to help with this event, please see Becky Nadeau.

BEACON YOUTH:
☕️ Heading out to Midnight Madness this year on July 3rd? Fuel your Midnight Madness fun for a great cause by stopping by the Beacon Brews booth that will be located in the Houlton square! They’ll be serving up your favorite drinks to keep your energy high all night long. Even better? 100% of the proceeds go directly toward funding the Youth Activities! It can cost up to $150 to feed the 50 kids who come to the Sunday night Youth group. Grab a delicious drink, support our amazing teens, and enjoy the night. Unable to come out for Midnight Madness? Consider donating to the Beacon Youth food fund or you can volunteer to make goodies for them. See Micah Goetsch for more info.

YOUNG WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: Tonight!!
For ladies 18-30ish years old. Wednesdays at 7pm in the Conference Room. We will be studying Colossians and there is no book necessary to purchase but please bring your bibles. If you have any questions, contact Mia Henderson or call the church office.

OPERATION FEED THE TEEN LEADERS:
More than 20 incredible teenagers are stepping up to volunteer at Boys Camp this summer, donating their time, energy, and sanity to mentor the young boys. They do amazing work, but as we all know, teenage energy requires serious fuel. To prevent any mid-day hanger pains and to keep their spirits high, we need your help! We are looking for donations of drinks & pre-packaged snacks (chips, cookies, snack cakes, fruit gummies, candy, etc...) to keep our teen volunteers fueled up all week. If you can help, please drop off your donations any time during church office hours up until July 28th. Let’s show these teens how much we appreciate their servant hearts—one snack at a time!

4TH OF JULY PARADE – HATS OFF TO AMERICA:
Join the Church on the Hill in celebrating America’s birthday on Sat morning, July 4th. Do you want to be a worship flagger? A walker handing out goodies along with an invitation to the Hilltop Family Fest? Or do you want to help decorate the float or ride on it? There will be many opportunities to spread Jesus and the love of our country to those in town. Please sign up today at the Welcome Center.

JUST 4 BOYS SUMMER CAMP:
July 13th–30th: We have 13 boys fully funded so far and we need sponsors for 11 more boys for 3 weeks at $275 per boy. If you would like to help, please write your check out to AABA. Volunteers are also needed and you can come out for a day, a week or for the whole time! If you would like a volunteer application, please call the AABA office, 532-2273.

Food Giveaway: July 11th, 9am.
Clothing Giveaway: July 18th, 10am

HILLTOP FAMILY FEST 2026:
Sat, August 15th, 11am-2pm. We need volunteers and ideas for this event that will be for the whole community. The goal is to have food, hayrides, games, music, haircuts, school supplies and so much more but it will take the church congregation to put this on. Ultimately, we want to share the Gospel with the community. Do you have an idea for an activity?? Do you want to help work it?? Please pray and consider what you would love to contribute and email the church office. Sign up at the Welcome Center. Thank you!

VAN MINISTRY:
MSBC now has a Van Ministry to help people who do not have transportation attend church. We need volunteers so if you are interested in driving, please email the church office.

VAN RIDES:
If you need a ride to church on a Sunday morning, please call the office no later than Thursday morning so we can get the route info set up before the weekend. Please note the church is closed on Fridays.

MEAL TRAIN MINISTRY:
If you love to bless those who are sick, recovering from surgery or who just had a baby, consider joining the Meal Train Ministry. You don’t have to cook every time and if you can’t cook, food gift cards are perfect! Email secretary@houltonmsbc.org if you are willing to help. Thanks!

Has your contact information changed or would you like to sign up to serve on a ministry team? We’d love to be able to connect with you!
