PRAYER:

First Things First Prayer Night is every Wednesday at 6:45pm

Pray for the Dream Team to discern God’s direction for developing the property for ministry.

Need a pastoral visit while you’re in the hospital?  Please let the office know.

Prayer Team:  If you are interested in becoming a part of a team that prays with others during Sunday morning worship or if you have questions, please contact Allen or Tammy.

 

GIVING/THE DREAM PROJECT:

Thank you for your faithful giving!  As you give your tithe (Current Expenses), please note “Missions,” “COAH Fund” (City on a Hill), “Adopt-A-Block” or “Strong Tower Haiti” regarding extra offering.  Please continue to pray about pledging to the mission project next door.  If you give to the “Growth/ COAH Fund,” those gifts are used for the church building and not towards The Dream Project.

 

BAPTIST PARK:

Would you like to become a Swim Buddy?  Baptist Park is asking for donations that will help pay for much needed repairs to their pool.  Donor forms with more info are located at the Welcome Center.

 

LET US WORSHIP:

We’re gathering with people from across the state to worship and pray in front of the capitol building in Augusta! Join us Sunday May 26 at 4pm in Capital Park, Augusta, Maine.

 

PREGNANCY CARE CENTER:

Walk4Life, Thursday, May 30.  Rain date: June 6.  Registration is at 6pm at the P.C.C. in Houlton.  The Walk starts at 6:30.  Proceeds will benefit the P.C.C. of Aroostook.  Pick up a pledge form at the Welcome Center.

 

AABA:

Food Giveaway:  June 8, 9am, Clothing giveaway:  June 15, 10am,

Seedtime & Harvest:  Saturday, June 22, 10am.

 

BENEFIT SUPPER & AUCTION FOR SAM HISCOE:

Saturday, June 15, 4-7pm, Houlton Southside School.  All proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to assist Sam Hiscoe with medical expenses associated with a heart transplant. Your prayers and support are greatly appreciated.

 

CARE TEAM:

This ministry is looking for caring volunteers to really bolster the team.  Some of the duties of the Care Team involve greeting people, collecting the offering, helping at the Welcome Center and handing out bulletins.  If you would like to sign up or get more details, please call the office.

STRONG TOWER HAITI:

VBS 2024 – The theme this year is “Hope Lives” and it will be a wonderful week of working alongside our Haitian partners in ministering to 500 of Caracol's children through games, Bible stories and crafts.  If you are sensing the Lord leading you to VBS, please go to www.strongtowerhaiti.com and fill out an application today.  A decision will be made by June 1 whether or not the team is safely able to travel in July.  See Lori Gardiner for more info.

Got Returnable Bottles?  Turn them in at Graham Redemption Center on North Street and support STH.  Drop off your bottles and tell them the proceeds are to be donated to STH.  Unable to get out to the Redemption Center?  Let Lori Gardiner know and she'll pick your bottles up from you.
