EASTER WEEK:

Maundy Thursday Service and Dinner:  Please bring a light dish or salad to share.  Dinner starts at 6; Service of Darkness at 7. Childcare will be provided for ages up to 5 starting at 6:45.

Easter Service and Brunch:  There will be a “lite” brunch from 8:30 – 9:15am.  If you would like to bring a dish/breakfast fare, please call the church or contact Gail Miller.

 

PRAYER:

First Things First Prayer Night is every Wednesday at 6:30pm. 

A Prayer Team will be present at the Sunday morning service to minister to you.

Continue to pray for the Dream Team as they listen for the Lord’s “walk this way” regarding the development of the property.

Prayer & Worship Night:  Mon, March 27, at 6pm.  Join in for a night of informal prayer and worship.

 

PARENTAL/CHILD DEDICATION:

There will be a child/parent dedication on April 2.  If you are interested in committing yourselves and your child to God, please see Bethany or Robert.

 

GIVING/THE DREAM PROJECT:

Thank you for your faithful giving!  As you give your tithe (Current Expenses), please note “Missions,” “COAH Fund” (City on a Hill), “Adopt-A-Block” or “Strong Tower Haiti” regarding extra offering.

Please continue to pray about pledging to the mission project next door.  If you give to the “Growth/ COAH Fund,” those gifts will be used for the church building and not towards The Dream Project.

 

WORSHIP MINISTRY:

Immediate needs: Projection and camera operator.  Talk with Melanie Burns if you are interested.

 

FELLOWSHIP:

American Baptist Women of Maine:  Spring Rally North, April 29, 9:30am, East Millinocket First Baptist. Registration is at 8:30.  Cost: meeting - $2, lunch - $10.  To sign up call 783-1510 by April 22.

Bridal Shower for Olivia Nadeau, engaged to Shawn Fleming, Saturday, Mar 25, 10:30am.  The couple is registered on Amazon.  Ladies, you are all invited to bless this dear couple, family in Christ.

An Israel Tour, hosted by Pastor Burns and Melanie, is being planned for May 1-12, 2024.  Pray about joining this life-changing trip to the Holy Land. 

 

OUTREACH:

Seed Time & Harvest monthly classes:  “Methods of Preservation,” Mar 25; “Growing Food in Small Places,” April 15.  All classes are 10am to noon. Learn how to provide, preserve and sustain food for your family.  Call AABA to sign up.

GREATER HOULTON CHRISTIAN ACADEMY:
