Celebrate Recovery

Is Celebrate Recovery for Me?

Ask a regular attendee at Celebrate Recovery and they’ll say, “Yes!  CR is for everybody.”  Yes, it is for addictions to alcohol or drugs but it is also for the many other hurts, hang-ups and habits that are common to us all.  I have found help and healing in the areas of anger, anxiety and co-dependency.  My family has seen a huge change.  God has used CR as a resource to help me mature as a Christ-follower.

Ask these questions to see if CR might be for you:

  • Do I have past hurts which get in the way of healthy thinking and living?
  • Do I try to use food, entertainment, porn, video games, drugs or alcohol to forget my pain or escape life’s pressures?
  • Does my anger ever feel out of control?
  • Does my moodiness/grumpiness/critical nature negatively impact relationships with family?
  • Do I think too much about what others think about me?

Only God can truly deliver you from these hurts, hang-ups, and habits.  His rescue plan is new life found in Jesus Christ.  Celebrate Recovery is simply a place to gather to point each other to Jesus.  At CR we celebrate what he has done, what he is doing, and what he will do.  We get honest with ourselves and each other as we look to Christ’s power to bring help, healing, and joy.
